I started in DCUO (DC Universe Online) this April. And I realizedthat there are several 'mini' worlds and societies within thisMMORPG.
Inside there are many, if not thousands of combinations of classesand powers. It was my first day, but participated in a raid inside theRegal Hotel (far as I know Raid consists of 8 players), however in the hotel was only possible 4. Appears to play a limitation.
But I think the RAID in the open allows eight players. What many in the beginning as I can conclude is - Why have eight players in aRAID, if we can invite players to play next?
RAID is like a group of four players who allows 8. All items shareexperiences and gain a kind of trading among colleagues. There are three options - I need, greed and pass.
In the first option, we ask that we want that item, but we expect someone else to pick you dispense it. Greed is when we pick upthe item, without the famous question - "Who wants to?" andrelease the third item. This combined with that need - just allows the exchange of all items.

I also discovered that each player can choose a character class(Hero or Villain) and select powers (fire, ice, gadgets, nature, magic, mental powers and light).

The combinations allow players to be key in battle, and it pays a lot.I've noticed that my setup - Tank - Fire is essential for heavy fighting.The little I played, I also noticed that I can heal myself. And that has made me think I'm more a kind of DPS Healer.
I'm still with a brief 'gambling', still do not know about many things.And I'm still on 5% of everything that this virtual world offers.

Mentors are another option in the game that lets you interact with other non-player characters of the DC Universe (Detective Comics).
Each mentor gives the player a semi-restricted access to their ownlocalities. I quoted semi-restricted, because we can allow the entry of other players with other mentors through groups and raids. Whenwe add them a kind of VIP card.
